it was in walking distance of the Shanghai Railway Station, it was clean and comfortable, everyone was friendly and helpful. I am especially grateful to Xiao Cao who helped accommodate my dietary needs (celiac, gluten free) for the breakfast!

The property was very clean, well-equipped, and just a 10-minute walk to the metro. The staff were incredibly helpful and the breakfast was pretty good. Air conditioning was great! Both the WiFi and water pressure was alright too.
The soundproofing isn't the best

I stayed in a single room and was pleasantly surprised by its cleanliness and quality.
Unfortunately, the room was very noisy. You can hear the elevator every time it is used, as well as people walking and talking on the floor. In the morning, the cleaning noise (doors opening and closing) is also quite noticeable. It would be great if the hostel could improve the sound insulation.
In addition, the staff (especially the ladies) could be more professional and welcoming.
