From the moment we arrived the lodge had a great feel to it. We were greeted with a lovely welcome pack, little touches like the box of essential washing up products and milk in the fridge were very much appreciated. The lodge had a selection of books, games and local visitor leaflets which was helpful.
The onsite pools are a great for relaxing in or tiring out the kids; beware the outside pool is cold!
It's difficult to get to or venture out if you don't own a car.
We needed an iron, as travelling had creased our clothes, and ended up buying a small travel iron in Lyme Regis as there wasn't one available to us over the weekend.
The bottom sheets were not fitted and so became untucked and messy if you moved a lot in the night but that's being picky; as I couldn't fault the anything else with regards to our stay-very happy with our choice of holiday home.
