We stayed for 3 nights and had a wonderful experience overall. The hotel is an amazing facility : very clean, modern, beautifully designed, and extremely well maintained. It truly feels like a genuine boutique hotel, with a lot of attention to detail.
The hotel is surrounded by beautiful greenery, with a lovely garden right in the middle that creates a very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. And the view of the volcano is absolutely breathtaking, definitely one of the highlights of the stay.
The staff were exceptionally welcoming, kind, and helpful throughout our stay. The parking is also a great advantage: the spots are safe, secure, and located right next to the hotel, which was very convenient.
Breakfast is not served at the hotel itself but at another hotel about a 5 minute walk away. Sadly, the quality and setting of the breakfast do not match the standards of the hotel we stayed in. The selection was very basic and the quality rather mediocre, which is a real shame given how excellent everything else was.

Beautiful property, immaculately clean, wonderful staff, breakfast was delicious and in a lovely spot for wildlife, great pool, highly recommend.

Fortuna Retreat is beautifully landscaped accommodation. The design of the accommodation is modern and practical. The shared kitchen is an added bonus.
It would be helpful to have a kettle in the room but there is one in the kitchen to use.
If you have a car it’s not a problem but it is not walkable to La Fortuna and the restaurants.

Great shower, spacious, comfortable bed, good view of volcano.
Nowhere to put clothes, only seats were outside, pool tiny, deceptive photos.
