Comfortable beds, fluffy and big bath towels. All kitchen bits like dishwasher tablets were provided.
The location was quiet and pretty.
Our host kept us informed and was proactive.
The spiral staircase to the sitting room was too challenging for us oldies so we stayed downstairs.
The top couple of outside steps down to the front of the cottage were rather narrow and we clutched the top off the wall to negotiate them before reaching the iron handrail further down.

Secluded setting on a gravel road. Sound of birds chirping and the wind in the trees was just what we needed.
Spiral stairs between floors was a little challenging in moving from Kitchen to Living area.

Lovely place hidden away so you can completely chill away from phones (unless you connect to wifi) and just catch up with friends. Very nice beds and a country cottage feel.
Upstairs hot tap didn't work at all and just spins on sink and upstairs bath could do with a shower or bath tap shower fittings. Its an old house so you can forgive these things. Could also do with more dry wood left for fireplace as wood was quite wet but none of this took away from a lovely time spent catching up with friends and a lovely stay.

Clean, comfortable accommodation. Spacious, well-equipped kitchen and large attractive garden, with swing and picnic bench. Excellent location with lots to do nearby.
Seating on balcony with views over the countryside.
The garden wasn’t enclosed so dogs needed to be watched when they were outside. The living room was up an open spiral staircase which our dog couldn’t climb, so it was a shame that she couldn’t be with us in the evenings.
The taps on the sink in the upstairs bathroom were old and ill-fitting, so could do with being replaced. A simple headboard on the upstairs bed would add a little more comfort.
