La ubicación es muy buena, el ambiente también, se puede descansar porque no se escuchan los ruidos de fuera y cuenta con los implementos necesarios para cocinar o lo que uno necesite.
En general no tengo ninguna opinión negativa, solo no me gustó que las toallas tienen mal olor y las alfombras del baño están muy sucias. Lo demás estaba muy bien y muy cómodo.

It was a cracking pub with the rooms above the bar, but nothing disturbed me! Although a shared bathroom the other room wasn't booked, so it was all mine! Tidy kitchen area with facilities to cook a meal if you wished to.
Although there are improvements being made to the property, they did not get in the way of having an enjoyable night's stay.

Needed a last minute place to stay in Hitchin. This room was a great choice, with friendly accommodating pub landlord who checked me in and showed me around. The location was convenient, 5 minutes walk from the train station and 10 minutes walk from the centre. The flat is the original over the pub flat used by the landlords family so there is a home from home aspect to it, the bedroom was cosy and homey with a kitchen to cook your own food and large family bathroom.
I was fine with this but including it for a balanced review in case it's important to other people - with the kitchen and shared bathroom there is a slight hostel vibe to the place so set expectations when you're choosing, this is not a hotel with private bathroom etc.

Good location near town and station, the room was quiet, clean and tidy.
The shared facilities (Bathroom and Kitchen) felt like staying in a student house, probably should be a bit cleaner/better presented for a paying guest.
