Fantastic stay at a beautiful house

Beautiful house, in quiet location. Sandrine was fantastic, very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Made us fell very welcome, especially my children and the rabbits (which they loved). Very clean and comfortable, with a great breakfast the next day - would definitely stay again.

Only slight issue was the temperature in our room - but very minor, could do with a fan in the room, for when it's very hot!

Ok but unfortunately not very clean and no locked door

We spent one night here with our family. The price is very good, the hostess is friendly, and the breakfast is fine.

That night we were the first guests; more arrived in the evening. Unfortunately, the shared bathroom (including the toilet) was very dirty to begin with. When we asked for the key to our room, we didn't get one. 'It wasn't necessary,' she said, because she would be downstairs in the living room in the evening. We indicated that we were leaving and that we didn't like the fact that strangers were checking in upstairs in the hallway, in the room next to ours, and could therefore enter our room as well. Our children slept restlessly because of it; if someone were to 'accidentally' open the wrong door, they would immediately be face to face with our children in bed. It is a shame, because surely a little more hygiene and a room that can be locked wouldn't be difficult? Unfortunately, this is a reason for us not to book again.

A lovely homestay with a wonderfully kind and efficient hostess

I had a room for the night in a lovely house - it was a sort of homestay. Two friendly dogs. Breakfast when I wanted it, with a wide choice. The place was clean and located a few minutes' walk from the station. You can drop down a shortcut into the town along the river, a lovely walk. Most of all, the hostess was kind and extremely helpful - giving me two short lifts when I was struggling due to the oustside temperature being around 35C - and I wish her and her family all the best.

There was nothing wrong, except that I didn't realise that if there were other guests I would have to share a bathroom - a first for me in 20 years of frequent travel! But we co-operated and it worked fine.

Great place for families and individuals to stay in a beautiful area of France

Sandrine was very friendly and professional. Treated us like family. Everything was very clean and spacious, and our great experience was topped up with a delicious, traditional French breakfast... Merci beaucoup! Will definitely come back.
