Well set up for a long term stay. Lovely setting and owners, while available for any issues, are respectful of privacy. The location is unusual but under-rated. Walks are excellent. A good gateway to the 'secret lochs'.
Time for a deep clean. A good top to toe freshen up would make this apartment a clear 10.

Lovely location, so peaceful and great for exploring the area. A comfy apartment!
The key box and lock were really tricky to work and a pull handle on the inside door would really be great for closing and locking the door. We were attending a wedding near by and although the apartment was lovely it was tricky getting ready with only a very small mirror and no real place to dry hair. I managed fine but these little touches would make a lovely place even nicer.

Overall, a very enjoyable experience, the apartment was very comfortable and well equipped. Nice large kitchen area with new appliances. Spacious bath with both tub and shower enclosure. Good Wifi. Nice outdoor seating area with amazing view. Many good books and maps about the local area and history. On Tuesday afternoons, you can visit the local playground and buy homemade Sourdough bread from a local baker, what a bonus!
a little hiccup with the lockbox code, the code and phone number supplied by Booking was not correct. Fortunately the owner was home and we were able to get the correct code.
