Love location and owners. Some adjustments are needed, this isn’t camping it’s glamping and you cannot do it halfway. Need more AC in second floor units like this one, our unit was well over 100 degrees when we arrived and never got below 80 degrees inside even when temps dipped outside at night, very uncomfortable. Husband left with our dogs on second night because it was too hot for him and them to even get comfortable enough to sleep. Hot water smelled like sewage when running and no hot water available in the shower or water pressure to shower. Took showers at lake and gave up on taking at location. Not enough cooking supplies, no oven mitts or cooking trays at all. Need to have cleaning supplies, dust pan, extra TP and PT’s in cabin, shouldn’t have to ask or should have a central location to pick additional items up from without bothering the hosts, that’s how they’ve done it elsewhere. We’ve been coming to Raystown since kiddos are small, they are all adults now and although great spaces and location they have asked to return to our former location on Snyder’s Run, they know what to expect there. Far too many pets all at once, daughter and I were both bitten by another guests dog. Leaks visible in tiles and spider webs all over. Lastly, morning I left there was a minnow flopping in my sink, scared me!!! How did that even happen AND is water actually safe to drink, I’ve now been sick with stomach issues for over 48 hours, were filters working in this unit? Need to know.
