This is one of the most amazing places I have ever stayed. Marco was a kind and generous host - his thoughtfulness and consideration about things like laundry and cooking made it easy to settle in to the apartment and come and go with ease. The location is perfect for walking to the Vatican and to Rome, though if you prefer metro, the stop is just across the street. The actual apartment is stunning and inspired us to make some updates to our own decor! I cannot recommend this stay highly enough. Thank you so much for hosting us and hope to visit again!

The property and location are excellent for exploring Rome and surrounding area. Marco was responsive and offered flexibility for check in. The loft and finishes feel bright, modern and spacious despite being below street level. Great place for family or couple and would definitely stay again when in Rome.

This apartment was amazing. The location was fantastic, within walking distance of the Vatican, and Marco and Fabienne are so helpful and knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

How often do you hear that? The pics did not do the property justice. Home owners were there to greet us when we arrived, showed us around and sat down with a map so we had a lay of the land. Great people, great neighborhood, great stay!!

The apartment is designed by two architects, and they have done a magnificent job. High ceilings, plenty of light, and located in a very lively area that’s not too busy. The hosts are lovely, and helped us with everything we asked. We really appreciated sharp knives, good quality pans, and all the basics so we could cook on those nights when we didn’t want to eat out. We loved our time here. Warm hospitality and spotless, super stylish digs.

Spacious, clean and comfortable. The area was perfect, everything was basically right outside our doors. Grocery, restaurants, bars and bakery…all just steps away. Marco and Fabienne greeted us upon arrival with tons of information about best restaurants, bars and ice cream shops. The loft had everything we needed during our 3 week stay. It was so nice to have the extra linens and I certainly appreciated the fully equipped kitchen. I was able to cook and had all necessary pots and pans. In short, it was hard to leave and I will be back . We travel to Italy quite often and always rent apartments and this was ,by far, the best rental. Thank you Marco and Fabienne…for providing us with such a great home. Until we meet again…

Great location great hosts great loft (as good or better than most LARGE lofts in NYC or Chicago or Boston or Paris or, we’ll, you get it). Marco and Fabienne are great hosts and extremely helpful and ALWAYS available to answer questions. If you’re wondering whether I would stay here again, the answer is SI’! YES YES YES!

The loft is brilliantly designed, extremely comfortable, very well equiped and in a less congested part of the city. Easy cab ride or reasonable walk to downtown . Marco and Fabbian are very accommodating, helpful and fantastic hosts. I can't recommend it enough!!!

Wonderful residence and location

We thoroughly loved staying at this beautiful loft. Not only was it very stylish, it was extremely clean, had all the amenities you could ask for, a very comfortable bed in the main bedroom, plenty of space, small outdoor space, and in a wonderful location with plenty of nice restaurants and walking distance to plenty of sites including Vatican City. Additionally, Marco was a wonderful host and provided lots of suggestions on what to see. We would certainly consider staying here next time in Rome.

Beautiful, well stocked, well maintained property. Only metres to the Metro. Many restaurants, grocery stores and shops close by. Excellent air-conditioning, a must-have in Rome in the summer! Marco and Fabienne are very friendly and available, proud of their apartment and City.

My wife and I spent 17 days at this property, and we loved it. The flat really works well for a couple (unless climbing stairs is an issue), and the Prati district is an ideal location from which to take in all that Rome offers. The flat is super easy to reach from the Metro - it's about 2 short blocks away from the Ottaviano station. The district doesn't seem overrun with tourists, has great local bakeries/markets, and yet it's about a10-15 minute walk to the Vatican Museum. What we really appreciated about this property: 1. It's super clean and well maintained. The pictures are accurate. 2. If you fancy cooking, the kitchen is really well appointed with excellent appliances (Bosch), cooking pots/pans, all the varieties of dishware and stemware you'd ever need. 3. This place has volume and huge windows, which really gives a sense of space. We never felt claustrophobic, and the garden is lovely. 4. Oddly enough, the main bedroom and a bathroom are on the mezzanine level and are quite close to the street. But we slept great and weren't disturbed by traffic noise. 5. Tons of entertainment options with Netflix or YouTube available, and the bandwidth is excellent for your wireless devices. Probably the best feature of all is the warmth and genuine kindness of the hosts, Marco and Fabienne. All communication was answered right away, and they spent a lot of time explaining how everything worked in the flat, and then spent more time going over where we could find the best local markets and bakeries. Their knowledge of Rome's museums is encyclopedic. During our stay they touched base by text just to be sure we were OK and that there were no issues. Oddly enough during our stay an exterior light outside the front door got ripped off, and that took out the electric power to the whole flat. Marco was over in 15 minutes and made quick work fixing everything. In sum, this was one VRBO flat that was tough to leave. And it was wonderful to have met and become friends with Marco and Fabienne. We'd love to return. Thanks, Scott & Han

can not recommend Loft 107 highly enough, the location is great, the accommodations are excellent, very well maintained and there is everything you need for your stay. The owners are lovely people and very helpful with all the information you may need. This was our 6th trip to Rome and my only wish is that we had found it sooner. This is the best rental we have ever had.

We really enjoyed our break, the flat is verg close to metro & shops easy reach of the rest of rome for sight seeing. A lovely place to come home to in the evenings. Well equipped, very clean and comfortable. Marco is very helpful. Many thanks

Marco’s Place was perfect for our stay in Rome. It is located in the Prati neighbourhood which is quieter and less touristy than something closer to the main attractions. The apartment is located on a busy street but you wouldn’t know it based on how quiet it is inside. Marco has thought of everything and it is one of the best stocked properties we have stayed in. And Marco is a great host, providing all sorts of solid information when we met on day one of our stay. The property has essentially two bedrooms and two full baths. The bed is is very comfortable and the shower is great (compared to some more recent stays we had with little water pressure). Lots of space, great kitchen. Not much more you can ask for. We loved everything.

Lovely apartment and great location. Marco is a great host and spent a lot of time with us, giving suggestions for restaurants, places to visit and telling us about Rome. We were within walking distance to the Vatican. The subway and buses were within steps of the apartment to get to places too far to walk. We enjoyed our stay very much and plan to be back!

Our stay was absolutely fantastic! The apartment is so chic and equipped with everything to make us at home including wi-fi and a great stereo system. Also the bed was super comfortable. We are only sorry we did not have more time to really settle into this wonderful space. We would have loved to enjoy drinks or morning coffee in the garden, and cook a few meals in the fabulous kitchen. As others have said, Marco and Fabienne were there to greet us, generously going over the best bakeries, restaurants, and grocery stores within walking distance. They are so charming. Fabienne was quick to respond when I admitted I forgot to bring my Iphone charger, actually bringing me hers so that we would not be without. They even suggested a roof top bar on the Corso that was a gorgeous place to view sunset. After that highlight, coming home to Loft 107 was a great way to end the day. We will return and are so happy to have met Marco and Fabienne.

Our stay in Rome was beyond what we expected. This was the perfect home away from home, convenient to all and exactly as described. We loved all the conveniences and the great location. My family of 4 greatly enjoyed our stay at Loft 107. Our host Marco met us and spent a lot of time going over everything in the unit to ensure that we had everything we needed. The unit itself was beautiful - Marco and his wife obviously spent a lot on the design and details of the unit - it was warm, welcoming and functional - we felt very much at home. The location is fantastic - a short walk to the Vatican, a 2-3 minute walk to the Metro, plenty of shops and restaurants within a 15 minute walk of the unit. Marco was also helpful in making suggestions on things to do during our stay in Rome. Communication before our stay was also great. Thanks Marco for making our stay a memorable one! Andrew & family

We have stayed in several excellent apartments with Home Away and I can absolutely say this is the best we've experienced. Marco and Fabienne are really excellent hosts. They took us through the apartment and explained how everything worked, which was helpful, and then sat with us and gave us many details about the neighborhood, restaurants and things to do in Rome. They were available for anything we needed during our stay, and later in our trip, they even helped us figure out how to get tickets to see the opera at the Baths of Caracalla, which was so nice of them. They really went above and beyond for us, true hosts, not just apartment owners you may never see or interact with. The apartment is really well set up, it has everything we needed for our stay. The design is neat and special from an architectural sense, very well thought out, and the quality of the furniture feels great and special. The air conditioning was perfect, and the laundry machine really helped as well. As others have pointed out, the location is excellent. You are in a neighborhood in Rome, outside of the heavy toursim in Centro Storico (the city center) but close enough to either walk there or take the metro in if you don't want to walk. The metro is very easy to use, and the station is a block and a half away. We used buses, as well, to go further out of the city, and they are also very easy to use with many stops right by the apartment. Of all the places we've stayed, without question this is the one we'd return to right away. In fact, we're trying to work out how to get back to Rome even now... Enjoy!!

We traveled as a family (2 adults & 2 children). The accommodations were perfect. Spacious clean and welcoming. Even before we arrived to this beautiful loft, our experience was great. Marco maintained communication with us throughout our experience. Marco allowed us to check in early which was a huge convenience for us and allowed us to get started enjoying our vacation right away. Marco & His wife were wonderful at pointing out the local market, the sights, and the convenient public transportation. We felt safe and like we were at home the entire time. When we go back to Rome, we have zero doubt about where we will stay. Thank you Marco for helping to make Rome magical for my entire family.
