This is a cute apartment that was clean and in a nice area. It’s quite removed from the city and doesn’t quite feel like it’s in Vienna. It was frustrating that there was an Aircon in the room but the remote hadn’t been removed, leaving it unusable and quite hot (even with windows open).

For someone having busines at the Vienna International Centre, this is a good location but some walking is involved (which is good, lazy folks like me need an incentive to walk more), The room was comfy, the bathroom towel heater and radiant heater made for wonderful showers,
It's a 10-12 min walk to the Strand Cafe (specially is ribs), about 15-18 minutes to the Alten Kaisermuelin (great grilled lamb chops) and about 10-12 min to the Donauzentrum, one of Vienna's biggest shopping centres (I like to eat at Akakiko when I go there).
AJO Apartments has other great locations too. My wife and I have booked at AJO Apartments Messe Dec 2-26. The 11A bus goes to the Vorgartenstrasse U-Bahn station (U1 line) and across the street there is a SPAR supermarket.
