The location was the star! It's about a 40-minute drive to Coeur d’Alene, but it’s well worth it for the lake view. Overall, the house was clean, keeping in mind you are out in nature. Use caution when driving around the lake—a lot of deer are on and around the lake and road. The two bedrooms upstairs were nicely furnished and had comfortable mattresses. The bathrooms and kitchen had been remodeled and were nicely stocked with dishes, towels, etc. The downstairs “bedroom” was one large room with two beds and a bathroom. The fabulous feature of that area was a “garage” door that could be opened and closed to enjoy the outdoors. We loved that! I will provide the hosts with a few suggestions that may help make the downstairs area more inviting. The property manager was responsive and helpful, and let us check in early.
Overall, the experience was excellent, and we wouldn’t hesitate to return to the same house if we find ourselves in that area.
