Wonderful place to stay, safe ,secure, beautiful scenery, Golf club restaurants, pools , great.

The apartment had no means of keeping clean the property ie. Vacuumed cleaner , change of bedding .etc we stayed for 2 weeks and had to phone to make arrangements for the bedding to be changed ,consequently 4 people arrived, to change the bed sheets, which they took from a locked cupboard, in the apartment, and then invoiced us , per item of bedding , they changed, absolutely ridiculous, as the property was at the high end of rental properties. Also it needs an information pack IN THE ROOM telling you how to use the cooker ( induction hob ) TV, and what to do with the rubbish . Etc, .This is a beautiful apartment in a fantastic location ,spoilt by a few irritating regulations that could so easily be rectified, Also the carpet in the living area is very very dirty. We have stayed in 3 different Polo Pads, in near bye, Val de Vie on several occasions, ( also excellent accommodations) where you are trusted to change bedding supplied, and are complete with cleaning and washing machinery and full instructions on using everything in the apartment.

great accomodation in excellent location!

Pearl Valley suite 504 is ideally situated on the Pearl Valley Golf resort: in front of the suite is a very nice pool with a restaurant where you can have breakfast, lunch and dinner. You can also cook at the suite which makes it ideal for families with kids!

cleaning is only done upon arrival, meaning you have to clean the suite yourself and, if you stay longer, have towels which are not refreshed.

Great but won't be going back

Excellent views from the balcony. We had a view of the driving range and the first tee. The place was clean and comfortable. Beautiful swimming pool, right next to the restaurant.

The owners need to give proper directions on how to access the suite. It is not easy to find it unless you go to the clubhouse for directions. The hotel does not service the suite as it is privately owned. So we had to carry our luggage to the suite from the parking lot, which a bit of a stretch since there is no parking next to the suite. The suite is only serviced every second day of your stay but not during weekends, if you need it cleaned over the weekend or earlier than second day you have to arrange that at an additional cost. So if you arrive on a Thursday, and staying over the weekend like we did, you will have to clean it yourself (who wants to clean on holiday) or pay to get it done for you. We had a great stay and we loved it, but I don't think we will return to the suite, too much inconvenience.

The legal battle between the owner and Pearl valley has impacted us in such a negitive way.

We arrived in the evening, no one would help with luggage, no service for iron to the room, could not charge anything to the room. The staff were very willing until we said we were room 504 and we were then told that we had to speak to the owner. All advertising indicated that we were enjoying the facilities. Our tag didn't get us into the gym or access when leaving the property. Very poor for the price paid. Not five star by any means. A great pity as it was for a special occasion.

we were at Pearl valley but we felt like outsiders and no one would help. We couldn't even get an iron. We had to go to town to buy one!!!
