Lovely stay, comfortable beds, clean & great position

Good central location and decent apartment, but noisy area and price

I was alone but the apartment could work well even for 4 people — it has two beds plus a sofa bed on two separate levels. It's fully equipped, the internet is actually very fast, and the location is pretty central (although it does come with some downsides).

Just right outside the apartment there are some sketchy people hanging around, yelling and playing loud music every night until around 3 AM. It didn’t cause me any major issues (besides the noise), but other travelers might feel unsafe. On the last day, even though I confirmed I would leave at 11 AM, a cleaning lady knocked on the door at 10:15. Overall, the value for money could be improved.

Pleasant stay

Great location to all the downtown attractions, restaurants and pubs, and close to the Metro station. The apartment is spacious and the bed is comfortable. Well equipped kitchen. Ear plugs were provided, but I found it to be a quiet area at night.

The stairs are a challenge getting up them with luggage as they are steep, narrow and small. The room was hot, even though fans are provided. There is an aircon but its upstairs (not downstairs as shown in the photos) so it wasn't much help. The TV is so old you cant stream or cast to it, and the few Portuguese-only channels didn't work very well. There was a washing machine which I needed to use after 2 weeks of travelling, but it did not turn on.
