GREAT Neighborhood, Solar restaurant next door, Fado Museum down street, outdoor terrace & river view on upper floor, balcony & street view on lower floor, office & nice staff across street, ELEVATOR!
Entry protocol a little tricky but other guests helped us. Office closes at 4 so arrive before that so you can get help if needed. Take a taxi with restricted neighborhood permit to drop you at front door. Bolt or Uber will not.

The location of the property is obscure however our situation was more complex because of my wife's mobility issues.
The property is on a traffic restricted, narrow and steeply sloped street with no parking which made unloading luggage and getting my wife around on a wheel chair extremely difficult.
Having said that, it was comfortable and well equipped with most of what we needed. The property manager was just down the street and did her utmost to insure our stay was comfortable. She was a huge benefit to us.
This was our first time in Portugal so we were not sure what to expect and had we done more home work, we would have known that most of the streets are on steep hills and parking is a huge problem and particularly in Alfama. The cobble streets are also difficult to navigate and we did know that.
