We (family of 4) had an amazing stay in Sankt Goarhausen. Even though it was very unusually hot during our time there, the host provided more than enough fans to help us manage the heat. And he also provided great advice and recommendations as well. Such a fantastic historic property.

An old house nicely decorated. The host was very accessible. We had no hot water the first day. The owner got a waterheater worker to repair on a Sunday of a 3 day holiday. The weather was warm so we had to sleep with open windows very close to the railroad tracks. On the last night after we had retired, he let me know there was an air-conditioning unit available. That would have been nice to know on arrival. The 2 flights of stairs are steep and narrow, which might not work for some renters. Train noise was constant, part of renting on the north side of the Rhein.
