The whole apartment is equipped with air conditioning, which helps a lot in the hot summer. We were 7 people including 5 adults and 2 teenages. There are enough space for 3 families. The location for us is fine - not in the tourist center but with good metro connection, and the surrounding neighborhood restaurants are quite good (P.S. the neighborhood is quite dirty, seems this is a general issue of Rome)
With a group of 7 we could manage from time to time have some simple lunch or dinner at home - the kitchen is equipped for that. Though the equipment need a bit more quality.
