What a find!! I was called to work in the area at last minute and had a very slim chance of getting in somewhere. Admittedly skipped the part that mentioned it was off grid so was a bit shocked when I got there and read the users guide. But...what a find!! Such a gloroius view of the valley and tucked away where you can be at peace with nature and the stillness of the country. I didn't even notice the "off-grid" thing, lights were bright and there was never an issue feeling like I had to be quick about what I was doing.
Communication with the host was great and it was an all in all fantastic experience. Highly recommended if you just want an escape into the country.

Absolutely amazing little get away, so calm and peaceful tucked away in the side of the hills. Sue the host was so friendly and helpful, made our stay even better.
The views were amazing, we spent hours looking out. The inside of the hobbit hole was beautiful, everything you could need and welll furnished. Perfect little hobbit themed escape!

The cabin was really thoughtfully put together with the comfort of guests in mind. There were blackout curtains and blinds on every window so we could have a lovely lie in. There were plenty towels provided including some lovely bath sheets to wrap up in. The sink unit in the bathroom was very beautiful and I wouldn't have minded taking it home. The host was responsive over messages and very friendly and accommodating. The outdoor space was great and the dog loved roaming. The cabin was very dog friendly with a bowl, treat box and dog towels and blankets provided, which I thought was a lovely touch. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again and enjoy the fantastic views.

It was so beautiful open countryside great for our dog just open door and let him out. Sue our host was great really helpful
