as mentioned in my first review, I extended my stay for 2 nights since I really enjoyed the place… perfect for solo traveler or couple though the space is too small for a family… you will appreciate the sari sari store next to the hut because they are the only ones who sell stuff in that area at reasonable prices
I’m not the very picky type especially given the fair price I got during the low season. However, for the picky ones the AC may not be cool enough and you may find the air circulation in the bathroom inadequate. Other than that, please enjoy the awesome views, the awesome beach, and the many places to see around.

After reading a lot of negative reviews about this property, I was a bit skeptical. One hour after I checked in I immediately extended my stay for 2 more nights as I found everything about the place desirable. The bed was big enough for me, a huge TV that I can adjust to face the bed, spacious bathroom with hot water, working AC, and a balcony with a million dollar view. Wifi is starlink and worked perfectly yet the best part was that I can do swimming in probably El Nido’s best easily accessible public beach with crystal clear water. The beach is lined up with nice restaurants from McDonald’s at the entrance to Vanilla Beach which is open 24 hours, to Las Cabanas resort from where I enjoyed ceviche (kilawin) almost daily. Also, don’t skip J83 restaurant as they have the best sunset view and the best pizzas and calzones. The cottage is a short 10-minute walk to the zipline platform. I stayed during the low season so I did not hear a lot of noise as mentioned in the other reviews. The sari sari store next to the cottage is a plus if you want to enjoy cheap ice cream, soda, or even beer. I made friends with the local people there and they made my stay really memorable. For the price, this place is a true gem and I don’t even lie in my reviews you can check my profile to see the number of properties I’ve reviewed.
Ok the rat or mouse that run around on the ceiling and walls aren’t actually rats but small squirrels. You’ll find many of them if you walk past Las Cabanas in the morning or late afternoon towards Dolarog Resort. I got scared at first but they do not really make noise whole day, only after sunset between 7-8pm that’s it and stay quiet the whole day. There are 2 cottages and I was lucky to be on the side with no garbage and unobstructed view. The other one meanwhile didn’t really have garbage but old stuff like broom, containers, cleaning tools under the hut like they’ve turned it into a storage area for random stuffs. The view from this other hut is also partially blocked by the sari sari store so if I’m ever coming back I would definitely stay in the same hut where I stayed not on this other one although it’s bigger. The bathroom will start to smell weird after 3 days and I think they need to clean or replace completely the mosquito screens in the windows so that air can flow better inside. The faucet in the sink is also clogged thus requires cleaning.

L’emplacement est incroyable. La petite cabane est au bord de l’eau. Elle est à côté des gros resorts qui ferment à 21h donc pas trop à l’écart. Attention accessible qu’à pied par la plage (15min).
Le fait que ce ne soit pas dans El nido centre est un bon point car c’est une ville très bruyante.
Bon lit.
Pas mal de choses cassés dans la salle de bain (ex: pomo de douche). Aucun personnel, nous n’avons pas eu un contact référent pour nous répondre rapidement. Ce n’était pas très propre et Clim bruyante.

Albert, personalet var virkelig flink og bar vores tasker til hytten. Terrassen var lækker, men udsigt ud over vandet - tilbagetrukket, men stadig tæt på alt.
Sengen var ikke særlig behagelig og den var ikke særlig stor, tilstanden af hytten var ikke tip top - et af brædderne var knækket i gulvet, som gjorde at man kunne slå foden - hvis man trådte på den. Der var bygningsarbejder lige ved siden af, men de var meget venlige og forsøgte ikke at larme for meget.
