This is an apartment in a large house that has been suited out. The nice part about that is, there is a gated yard that you can enjoy as well as your own deck with a table and chairs. It is very relaxed and everyone is very friendly and accommodating. Any questions you might have are quickly answered. You are not in the downtown core, which I like. It’s not far to go but you are away from the noise and constant traffic. Vanilla Beach is just a short drive and there are two really good restaurants just a couple of doors down the highway, Mang Ben Cafe and La Colonial that you can walk to. The kitchen has the essentials for light cooking and ample safe water is provided which is nice. The bed was comfortable and the place was clean. Pretty good value for the price in El Nido.
The driveway is easy to miss and hard to navigate with a car. Once you get the hang of it, it’s ok. You just have to go slow to dodge the dogs and people etc. When you get into the yard there is plenty of room to park and it’s very secure. The furniture in the living room could be more comfortable but it’s fine. The wifi is intermittent. One small air conditioner in the bedroom is barely adequate for the whole place.
