We loved our Wadi Rum stay! It was a really lovely experience and one not to be missed! We were only 4 couples at the camp the night we stayed, so we’re very spoilt. Our bubble tent was fabulous, bed was comfy and the view couldn’t be matched! After our jeep tour, we were welcomed back to camp for Bedouin tea by the fire, which was a lovely touch. Dinner was a Zarb, which was absolutely wonderful, very tasty and way too much food! The night sky was breathtaking and there were so many stars. Breakfast the following morning was equally as good and plentiful. We loved our night in the desert. It would be a shame to miss this experience when visiting Jordan!

The location was just nice not too overly deep inside the Rum but also not too outskirts of it. Many tents are sometimes too near the tip of the start of the Rum. The Martian tents were great with basic needs. The view was really nice in the morning and sunset. Abdul +brothers and cousins were all very friendly bedouins who took care of us and made the stay unique. What was really good was the food was great. They cooked great food, Hummus, chicken and breakfast was fresh. Even teas were freeflow and sisha too. All was good and they were family camps so they will help and assist the best they can. The tours are worth and stargazing was really good, they try their best to tell you stories and speak to you.

Le camp est situé non loin de la route principale ce qui permet de s'y rendre même si vous n'avez pas de 4*4. La structure est assez récente et les logements (bulles) sont spacieux et plutôt confortable: un grand avantage étant la salle de bain privée. Au premier regard on est impressionné par le lieu et l'insolite. Cependant...
Nous avons vraiment apprécié les dîners du chef Mohammed qui proposait des plats locaux, simples et savoureux. On y a mangé deux soirs de suite et le menu était varié et différent.
Il faut dire les choses comme elles sont. Le camp manque franchement d'entretien! Arrivés en fin de matinée, on a trouvé les locaux communs en désordre, des restes du petit déjeuner trainaient par-ci, par là, des gobelets sales et des miettes qui attiraient des mouches. Notre chambre était disponible très tôt, mais le ménage donnait l'impression d'être fait à la va-vite et n'était pas de qualité. La bouilloire mise à disposition dans notre bulle était toute recouverte de poussière et il manquait des tasses/ verres pour pouvoir s'en servir. Les rangements sont peu nombreux, à peine une petite penderie mais là encore sans la barre pour suspendre les vêtements, ni qqs cintres - la base. Il n'y avait pas de porte-serviettes dans la salle de bain pour les accrocher, une fois utilisées. Certaines bulles disposaient d'une table basse et de fauteuils mais pas la nôtre. On a dû rentrer les meubles de l'extérieur afin de ne pas toujours s'assoir sur le lit.
Le personnel est gentil mais on ne peut pas dire qu'ils expriment beaucoup d'enthousiasme à communiquer avec les touristes: juste le stricte minimum d'échanges lors des sorties payantes.
L'impression globale reste plutôt bonne mais il y a pas mal d'améliorations à apporter.
