Location, great building, beautiful art. Very nice rooms.
The breakfast service was consistently a disaster throughout our stay. The restaurant was clearly understaffed, and every morning there seemed to be a new series of mistakes. Coffee regularly arrived cold, orders were taken incorrectly, dishes were forgotten, and food for the same table would arrive at completely different times. Many guests around us were visibly frustrated and rolling their eyes. It became almost comical because after a few days we knew to expect something to go wrong. On several occasions, someone in our party had to leave for a meeting before their food even arrived. For a hotel of this caliber, the breakfast operation was surprisingly poor and needs serious attention.
