Perfect location, great breakfast and super friendly staff.

It was central and the Suite was large and very clean with incredibly comfortable beds.

The hotel took a very large deposit/hold on my credit card despite the fact I had pre paid for the room. Far larger than any other hotel I’ve ever stayed at and I was only told about it when I checked in. Room service was very expensive, even just for a drink. Then If you wanted to order food from outside to bring in to your room you had to pay an extra 12.50 charge to the hotel for cutlery which is a little ridiculous because the room service is so expensive. We got woken up at 1.30am in the morning by a fire alarm which was a false alarm due to people setting off fireworks beside the hotel. Had to wake the entire family and get them dressed to go down stairs to be told it was a false alarm. For a 5 star hotel where you are already paying a lot of money, the experience in the hotel itself isn’t great. If it wasn’t for the location and very comfortable bed the rating would be lower.
