This is a very unique family managed property. We find it’s an excellent fit for us. We have a rooftop view of the pyramids, breakfast in the morning, a clean comfortable stay and good hot water. Marco and family are helpful and knowledgeable. He will arrange transport and tours and is very helpful. Once you get to know the area, everything is at your fingertips. It’s a small boutique hotel, a little away from the Giza hussle, which is perfect for us.

Depending on what kind of hotel you are looking for, in the building we counted 4 different "hotels", one on every floor. You get what you pay for, don't expect any luxury.
The Hotels area is kind of slum.
The AC is a god send!
We where there for 6 days (5 nights).
One day there where no water in the morning, this was fixed while we where away.
Another day the electricity was out a couple of times (upto 30.min).
The WiFi is really good.
The view of the pyramids from the roof terrace is great.
The breakfast was ok.
I would not recommend taking any of the tours, unless you can haggle the price.
But if I would visit Kairo again I would select a hotel in a different area, probably more downtown Kairo.
