The Gables has 4 bedrooms, 2.5 baths with an open plan living/kitchen/dining which is perfect for a family vacation or retreat with friends. Located in Holmes Beach, the home is only a short walk (approx. 6 min) to the beautiful Gulf beach. The house has been lovingly decorated with hand-picked vintage pieces to give the home a classic old Florida feel. Enjoy our budget-friendly pricing.

We live on AMI and are happy to answer any questions or needs you may have during your vacation at our home.
There is free parking for 4 cars in the driveway. You can also rent a golf cart from Hodo Golf Carts, Beach Bums or Zoom Around to explore the island at a leisurely pace. Alternatively, subject to availability rent one of our 6 cruiser bicycles. There is also a free island trolley service which runs daily around the island (approximately every 20 min). There is a trolley stop just outside both properties to easily hop-on and off.

Beautiful home. The pool was amazing and the perfect temperature. Spacious bedrooms and closets. We traveled with our youngest who’s only 5 months old and they had plenty of extra items that were so helpful for her as well as lots of beach and pool items for our older kiddos. Loved every minute of our stay!

We had an absolute wonderful vacation at The Gables! The house was clean, beautiful, and a perfect fit for our group! Valerie and Richard were wonderful hosts, with great communication, and the key lime pie was a wonderful surprise upon arrival! This house has everything you need, including all your beach and pool supplies. Our trash and recycling was picked up promptly, and even had a nice chat with the pool guy while he cleaned the pool! We would love to come back and stay again soon!!

Absolute gem of a property, made amazing by it's host Valerie - friendly, responsive and very accommodating. House has the most comfortable beds, clean spacious living areas and a well stocked kitchen. It's in a great location, next to the free trolley stop and just a few minutes walk from the pristine beach and turquoise gulf. Property had all the essentials and more, including a kettle for proper British brew. The pool was perfect, with noodles & inflatables etc in the shed for guests to use, and plenty of space around to relax.
Couldn't fault our stay and already looking at flights to return next year!
