All in, it was nice but not as relaxing as previous visits, probably due to the busy time of year.

We stayed here for the second time in July 2026 having first visited the previous October. The location is lovely and the place has plenty of room, the bar within the complex is open until the last person leaves and running a tab during your stay definitely makes the stress of budgeting your cash much simpler. The local town (Hisaronu) is roughly a 20-minute walk or a short ride on the DOLMUS bus (around £1 per journey per person) or the larger harbour town of Fethiye is the other direction but on the same bus route (again, around £1 per journey per person). The beach and lagoon at Oludeniz are a little further down the hill but again, cheap on the bus (Oludeniz isn't really walking distance). There's plenty of nice bars/restaurants that will cater for all dietary requirements (in both Ovacik and Hisaronu as well as Oludeniz) and the supermarkets are very well stocked for those that want to stay in and cook. The apartment has a washing machine, dishwasher and full kitchen with all that you would need for a comfortable stay. The beds were very firm for us but we coped. We enjoy the area and the people are friendly, food/beer is cheap plus there are designer replicas of every brand you can think of available from the local towns/markets for those that want to do lots of shopping.

There are a few points to make future bookers aware of that hopefully the management team will address having seen this review. We had a bit of an ant infestation problem, but this was raised with the agents so should be sorted soon. There isn't any internet available inside the apartment, but Wi-Fi is available just down at the bar within the complex and Yildiray the bar owner can arrange for a portable dongle (roughly £4 a day). We also had a mobile eSIM but the signal was poor due to the location and surrounding mountains. The rules around renting out apartments have changed so within the GRENA complex many owners haven't got the new permits. As a result, this is one of the more expensive apartments to book. Most places within the area are around £500 for a week so do look at alternatives - there are apartments on other booking sites for GRENA. This was our first trip during July due to work commitments and the place was busy. Lots of families and complete chaos around the pool at times, a large group arrived and pretty much took over the pool area during our second week. They upset nearly all other residents with their behaviour and shouted down anyone that raised concerns. Just a warning for anyone considering booking during school holidays! (oh, and also, a lot of the photos on the listing are NOT of this apartment. Plus I wasn't a solo traveller, I was there with my husband, so no idea why this review says I was solo)
