Staying Cool During Warmer Days

San Luis Obispo is known for its mild, coastal climate, and the home is designed to take advantage of natural airflow and cooler evenings. During occasional heat waves, due to the home’s size, high ceilings, and large windows, the AC is not designed to cool the entire space to very low temperatures during peak afternoon heat. Guests typically find the home most comfortable by running the AC earlier in the day, keeping blinds closed, using ceiling fans, and opening windows in the evening to let in the cooler air.  More tips will be included in your online guidebook.

If you need an item shipped to you, please have it sent to our local FedEx.  No Commercial Filming, Photography, or Influencer Content - This property is booked for personal, non-commercial use only. Guests agree not to conduct any commercial photography, filming, video production, or influencer/social-media content creation intended for promotion, sponsorship, or monetization — anywhere on the property, in the home, or on the shared driveway and surrounding premises. This includes filming other guests, neighbors, or passersby (e.g. hikers on the shared driveway) without their consent. Violation of this rule is grounds for immediate removal without refund and will be reported to Airbnb as a house rules violation.For your safety, please turn off the fireplaces at bedtime and use them only when you are present and gathered in front of them. Please note that the glass fireplace surrounds become very hot during use and can stay hot for a couple of hours after being turned off. Use caution around them—especially with children, as we are not liable for any burns. Please report any damages that occur during the stay promptlyGuests may request an early check-in (up to 3 hours before 4pm) or a late check-out (up to 2 hours after 10am), so long as there is not a reservation booked at our property for the day of your request.
