Horrendous

Terrible experience, our apartment was changed by liverpool rooms, at last minute. When we turned up to the apartment at 3pm it hadn't been cleaned from the previous stay. The beds were unmade, rubbish in the kitchen, dirty towels on the floor. When I spoke to the lady on the phone to tell her, she said she would ring me back. No return call so when I rang her, she said she had spoken to my husband already (I'm a widow), she then realised she had rang the wrong person and sent them to a new apartment! She told me cleaners would come and clean our apartment while I was out, she insisted they had a key. 30 minutes later when we we're out in the city centre, she calls me to say the cleaners need our key to get in!! So I have to trek all the way back through the city centre to leave the key otherwise I'll be sleeping in a dirty bed. This was on the hottest day of the year I might add. When we arrived back at the apartment...or should I say hovel. The place was cleaned the bare minimum. This was the worst experience I've ever had staying overnight some where. The apartment itself had no windows, the bathroom and beds were very similar to those found in a prison. I've attempted to get a refund from the company through them and through booking.com and liverpool rooms has refused. Avoid at all costs!
