Love the neighborhood. Testaccio is our favorite place to stay when we visit Rome. It’s quiet and easy to get around, there are lots of amazing places to eat and grab a coffee or apperativo nearby. The property is located just across from the river which made it easy to take the bus into the centro storico and campo di fiori areas, etc.. The apartment was very clean and had good a/c in the bedroom.
No a/c throughout the rest of the apartment and it got quite hot. Even with windows open and fan going, it was not comfortable to relax at the apartment during the day due to the heat. Although we were mostly out and about seeing the city and not at the apartment much, there were times when we wished we had refuge from the heat and the only place in the apartment where we could get relief was the bedroom. So we felt a little sequestered in there the majority of the time. But other than that, it was a lovely apartment.
