They gave me a very quiet room on the top floor, away from the elevators, as requested. I've stayed in this hotel three times and they have always given me a room in this area. The tradeoff is that there is highway noise on the south side of the building, but I much prefer this to hearing noise from other guests, through the walls or in the corridors. I could have requested a room on the north side of the wing, but I needed the early check-in I had requested and was very grateful to have the hotel allow this. I also like the breakfast, which is at the high end of these included hotel breakfasts, with many choices available for all diets and a beautiful breakfast room to eat in. The hotel is located in a beautiful outdoor mall, with several good restaurant choices. So far, our favorites are the Teriyaki place, Miguel's (Mexican), and BJ's Brewery. The mall is also good for morning and evening walks. The area seems very safe.
It would have been better to be on the north side of the building, to reduce highway noise.

We spent the whole first night killing ants in our room
. I was given glass cleaner and all purpose cleaner and made to deal with them myself. They were all over the room.
