What a nice surprise! We've stayed at the Essence Hotel for only one night, and the stay couldn't be better. The room was spacious, with a very nice view of Firenze. Location was great, only 15 min walking from the Santa Maria Novella train station. And Rafaella, from the front desk, was so lovely with us.

Nicely located hotel. The room was spacious and we loved the coffee station (although we would suggest adding coffee whitener to the amenities). Staff was so helpful explaining the details for a stress free stay. She also pointed out several must sees on a map. Would stay here again.

Excellent location, security, staff and renovated, modern room. Really enjoyed my stay and the staff is really helpful and makes you feel welcomed. Short walk from train terminal makes it ideal for Florence visit by train.
