This is a great little hotel. Such good value for its location. Right on the tram line and walking distance to a lot of the sights. The tramline isn't too noisy as the windows are double (or triple?) glazed. A lift is available to get to upper floors. Airconditioning worked well and the bed was comfy. The room was serviced daily by very professional staff and we had fresh towels given to us nearly every day, even though we had hung them up for extra use.
But really the jewel in the crown of this place is their staff. The front reception people were so welcoming and helpful. They gave suggestions, reassured us about access and ticketing information to sites, and even called up a company on our behalf to ensure a hotel pickup that had been booked was actually on track to happen. They provided extra bottled water when asked and were genuinely nice people. We really appreciated their thoughtfulness.

The location is good and central to the tourist destinations.
The hotel is located on a parallel back road to the main street so needs to be accessed through a side lane. There are some rubbishes and barriers for this last reach. Nothing dangerous but a quite a contrast when turning into the side walk.

The staff was very very friendly and cooperative
The room we stayed at the first night had pretty noisy furniture, especially the bed. But as soon as we told the reception employees they moved us to another room which was much better, so we are very thankful for their help and consideration!

- Very modern building and rooms. Most hotels in istanbul are B&Bs/guest houses, Xloft is one of the few hotels that feels like a professional hotel chain
- Very friendly staff and great grasp of english and very helpful
- Cleaning staff are very efficient. I went out for just 30 minutes and they have already cleaned my room
- My room was very modern, comfortable and very clean except for one thing - a 3 metere long line of black mold under the under window in the room. While the view out the window is great, the mold made me not want to open the curtains
- The hot water in our room disappeared on the night before we checked out and there was none the next morning too. As we were checking out we just soldiered on, but had this happened earlier in the trip it would have been a real hit to the quality of our stay
