I truly loved my stay at An Thong Beach Resort on Koh Phaluai. Simple, rustic and peaceful—it was a lovely place to slow down and relax.
The host was so warm and welcoming, and the breakfast was amazing. Her kindness extended beyond my stay: after finishing at the monastery, I was welcomed back for breakfast and allowed to use a cabin for a couple of hours to rest while waiting for the ferry.
I’m incredibly grateful for such thoughtful hospitality. It made my time on the island feel very special. Thank you for looking after me so beautifully. 💛

Il resort è un giardino con alberi e fiori, il cui prato termina su una spiaggia con accesso diretto al mare, senza rocce o pietre. I bungalow sono rivolti verso il mare, distanti tra loro, tutti con una splendida vista. Questo è l'unico resort dell'isola che offre privacy, un panorama mozzafiato e un tratto di spiaggia completamente libera da roccia...li abbiamo visti tutti! La mancanza dell' aria condizionata è stata del tutto irrilevante, i bungalow sono fronte mare quindi la sera sono freschi...e non so perché ma a Phaluai non c'erano zanzare quindi abbiamo dormito divinamente con le finestre aperte ed il ventilatore spento in un silenzio magico! Ma quello che ha reso questo posto indimenticabile è stato il servizio offerto dallo staff, che su un'isola che offre poco, fa davvero la differenza! Lady Ewy ci ha viziato come neanche un resort cinque stelle... ogni possibile richiesta è stata esaudita con gentilezza; ad ogni occasione ha cucinato con amore del cibo delizioso.

Ay som var vår värd gjorde vår vistelse perfekt , väldigt hjälpsam med allt . Vi fick låna moped o ta oss runt där det gick . Ordnade grill på stranden till oss sista kvällen . Hennes djur var underbara med katter o hund .
