Geschmackvoll, modern eingerichtete Wohnung in bester Stadtlage mit super Anschluss. Natürlich ist die Dachterrasse ein großes Highlight, und auch die Gegend. Das Bett war bequem, es war alles sauber, die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war einfach. Auch das parken hat sehr gut gegenüber geklappt und war nicht zu teuer. Um Nikosia zu erkunden wirklich hervorragend.
Es gibt aber auch ein aber. Jedenfalls für uns. Als Landeier sind wir gerne in der Ruhe und es ist natürlich klar, wenn man in einer Stadt übernachtet, das es lauter ist. Lauter ist hier aber kein wirklicher Ausdruck dafür, was man erlebt. Nachts kommen wirklich alle aus ihren Häusern und überall ist Musik und jeder ist aktiv. Verständlich, wenn es tagsüber heiß ist. Aber dadurch, dass die Fenster sehr dünn sind und quasi keine Dämmung vorhanden ist, ist es als schlafe man auf dem Square… wir stellen uns wirklich nicht an, aber ohne Ohropax ging es hier nicht. Zweites, wenn auch kleines Ding, was man wissen sollte, es gibt keinen Aufzug und man muss in den dritten Stock, und vor der Tür parken oder halten ist auch nicht wirklich einfach.

Very conveniently located, quite spacious with a nice view on Eleftherias Square with modern furniture and full kitchen equipment in excellent condition
The building is quite old with a narrow and poorly maintained staircase you have to climb to get to the apartment (on the third floor without any lift) [see photo]. On the Eleftherias square side it is full of windows which is very nice, but there is no double glazing and very poor noise insulation (not sure about the heat insulation as we visited in Spring and it was neither warm nor cold outside). The view would have been much better if the windows were properly cleaned, but it could have been due to recent rain. The shower cable did not fit correctly on the shower head which caused half of the water flow to come out of the cable [see photo]. The water heating did not function correctly, as even if we heated it for two hours we got warm water in the shower for 5-10 minutes (even using it immediately after it was heated, which was the instruction).
