The owner was highly responsive, met us at check in, helped us bring our luggage up 4 flights of stairs, provided plenty of water and even watermelon and ice cream! What a wonderful welcome. Location was excellent- 5 min walking to subway and right on Red Road so easy access to everything in Hongdae. Surprisingly not noisy at all since it was on one end of Red Road. AC units in all rooms worked very well.
Didn’t love that an adult store was on the first floor (esp if you have kids with you) but thankfully you couldn’t see anything weird through the windows. 4th floor walk-up was a little rough in the summer but not terrible. Don’t love how the shower and toilet all share the same floor but think that’s how most Korean bathrooms just are. Common space was a little small/tight- only comprised of the dining table. We were not in the apt most of the day so ended up being ok.
