The apartment was nice , clean & tidy . All modern and had everything you would need.
Once booked through booking.com i received an email from the property requesting me to fill out a pre check-in form.. which is fine . However part of the form was asking for credit card details for a security deposit. This made me feel uncomfortable as you can imagine. In the terms and conditions it stated that deposit would be required on arrival not via a link in an email!! I contacted booking.com & the strongly advised me not to click the link kn the email. Long story short this link is actually genuine and needed to be completed before we arrived as the property have no means to take security deposit on arrival 🤯

Faltaban utensilios en la cocina. Tuvimos que hacer un huevo frito en una olla porque no teníamos sartenes!

The property itself is lovely and my apartment was clean and very comfortable. The location of The Sessile is great, with easy access to buses and both overground and underground stations.
Upon arrival, I had to buzz a few times before being let in. Once I entered the first gate & arrived at the entrance for the building, I buzzed & yet again had to wait a while before I gained entry. Upon entering the building, there was no one at reception, I waited a while & there was also a resident waiting to speak to someone. When I asked them if someone was working on reception, she informed me that someone had been there 15 minutes prior. Having waited, I called the number shown on the desk, a gentleman answered & said he would be coming.
When he arrived, I informed him I was checking in, which seemed to surprise him as he said that no one told him that I was checking in. I showed him the booking confirmation on my phone & he gave me the key for the apartment. I had a couple of suitcases and bags plus was accompanied by my 6yr old granddaughter & at no time was I offered any help.
Upon arriving at my apartment door, the key would not work. Fortunately, one of the cleaners was in the corridor, and he tried to help me by trying the key himself, however, it still wouldn't work. He was very kind, took my key, and told me to wait because I had a lot of luggage and that he would go down to reception and try to sort out the key. He returned and said that the gentleman at reception was unable to help. He then tried his key to see if there was an issue with the door or just my key. He even asked me if I was able to use the key to access the lift & I told him yes, there wasn't a problem at all with the lift. His key worked fine, & I asked if I could go into the apartment, put our things in and then go & sort out the key.
When my granddaughter & I returned downstairs, there was no one at reception. I had to go to the store to buy some groceries, when we returned, we went back up to the room to try the key once again because I thought that it not working may have been as a result of arriving early. It didn't work.
