Pokój znajduje się w budynku ZDZ na samej górze na poddaszu. Przydałby się porządny remont. Głęboka Komuna. Brak telewizora i ciepłej wody w kuchni. Ciepła woda tylko z bojlera dostępna z kranu w wannie.

Location. The roof apartment is located right across the entrance to the old city.

The check in instructions are timely and very clear, easy to follow. However, there was no mention the apartment is located on the third floor by stairs.
There is no lights on the stairs. So when you have your hands full with luggage and don’t know the place, being in the dark is not welcoming.
I read the description of the apartment in Booking twice and there is no mention that the place is on the 3rd floor. One can assume that being the “old city”, there is no elevator. But it would be good to know ahead of time it is 3 floors up.
Mattress is ok, depending on your taste.
WIFI worked fine.
Extension cord in room to plug in device charging.
Two bath towels, which is nice for solo travelers, one for hair, one for body for us ladies.
Welcoming shower gel.
The bathtub is nice and big. (The shower is another story, described in the negatives).
A convenience store a few steps away and several food choices next door.
Easy access to bus stops.
No lights in stairs - arriving at night - no movement detector sensor to switch on lights for 3 floors. Moving with the reflection from the window (summer) - no light switches visible either until the top floor!
BATHROOM - only half a roll of toilet paper in use, no replacement roll anywhere. No trash bin for bathroom use.
The shower is not comfortable nor a safe experience. There is a hand held one - NO WHERE TO HOOK IT TO on the wall to free both hands. Water pressure semi ok - water heater of small capacity for two or more people.
SAFETY issue - no anti slip mat in tub, quite dangerous to stand with the hand held shower and soap at your feet and no where to hold on if you loose balance. Right next to the shower, there is a glass shelf and another glass floor shelf. No where to hold on to in case of a slip or to get in and out.
The sink is so tiny that to wash your face you splash the wall, the floor and the toilet.
The toilet paper holder does not work, it is broken, and all that is needed is a small washer and it would stay in place. (I temporary fixed it with a rubber band) Kitchen basic - functional. Electric stove. No exhaust. No hot water; have to heat water to clean anything greasy. Ice/freezer section - can only fit tiny ice tray - no ice cream container fits for example.
No bedside table - no bedside lamp.
Dirty looking / worn out carpet.
No wall/door hooks anywhere in the apt. Wet towels hung dry on back of chairs.
There is a loud chime - old city wall clock that sounds (plays music and chimes every hour and half hour, across from apartment. (not after midnight I believe)
No black out curtains in bedroom window - dawn starts at 3.15 am in summer - room is bright and hot by 4-5 am if sunny!
Ill fitting linen, top sheet smaller than bed.
Warm room, kept sweating. Not even a standing fan - no consideration!.
LEFT earlier than check out - could not stand one more night without proper sleep. Heat too uncomfortable.
