The house is very well designed. The family enjoyed the amenities and the pool was very clean and nice. We enjoyed the basement shower the most due to its newness and sophistication. We didn’t use the game room at all but it was a nice option to have. The road leading to the house was under construction during the time of our stay but the house is a short drive from the main road. The area was pretty quiet and we enjoyed the tranquility. The only suggestion I would have is to investigate the water pressure in the main and ancillary bedrooms. The pressure was low compared to the basement shower. The host was really easy to communicate with and we didn’t feel hampered by this. All and all, a great stay and we would likely revisit the property in the future.

A beautiful home to enjoy with the family. The highlights are the swimming pool, the pool table, a large dining table for twelve people, and modern appliances.

The home was nice and able to accommodate our group. That said, there were a few issues that impacted our experience. Prior to our stay—only a few weeks before our arrival, we were informed that one bedroom and one bathroom were completely removed from the property. This was a complete change to what we originally booked. The communication around this was not great, and the timing made it difficult to find alternative accommodations.Given this change, it would have been reasonable to adjust the cost accordingly. Which they did not. While we were still able to make it work, it was not ideal, our adult kids ended up having to share our room.Additionally, the hot tub blower was not working upon arrival, though it was repaired the following morning, which we appreciated.Another challenge was the ongoing construction on the entire road surrounding the property. This was not communicated and the noise—starting around 7 AM and continuing throughout the day made it difficult to relax and enjoy the outdoor space, particularly the pool area. I believe due to the construction there was a foul sewage smell. Speaking outdoor space, while nice, the back of the house and pool area could use a bit of a refresh to match the overall appeal of the home. Also neighbors spotlight shined across pool area and right into the bedroom windows. Overall, the home is nice and has the potential for a great stay, but better communication, a few improvements would make significant difference.

This was last minute booking because our VRBO property that we had booked 9 months prior was cancelled last day before our arrival. We had to choose from very few properties that were available. It was not exactly what we wanted, but we were so relieved to have a place to stay. The owner was very responsive to us when we reached out,and also ( we believe) was not expecting to have people in there that week,so was also scrambling to to prepare for guests. The home was nicely updated. We did leave her some suggestions that we thought might make the house more user friendly. We assume she will take our advice, judging from her quick responses when we were there.
