We loved our stay at Fare Toahana. After struggling with the lock box initially, the hosts were there to help immediately and checked us in and showed us around. We stayed for the first few nights of our honeymoon and it was beautiful waking up to the view out of the mountains towards the sea and the sound of zebra doves. The place was clean and comfortable and well-equipped for cooking in. There is a small shop not too far away for supplies and the neighbourhood is very quiet. It's easy to navigate to from the airport by car and to get into Papeete easily. The shared swimming pool was also very nice.

We only stayed here one night in transit from Tahiti on our way back home again, but the property was so nice that next time we might stay a few extra nights instead! The property had a nice kitchen, living room, comfy bed, nice shower and outside there was a day bed to relax on as well as a bbq and outdoor dining area! There is even a great view of the ocean from the property. Our hostess was so friendly and nice and picked us up and dropped us off at the airport as well.
There were no restaurants near the property within walking distance (we didn't have a car).

Alles klopte en meer dan dat. Hinano was een perfecte gastvrouw , niet te beroerd om ons zelfs s’avonds in de stad af te zetten en ook weer op te halen. Prachtig uitzicht. Underpromised , maar absoluut overdelivered
