1. The rooms are quite small, which undermines the very meaning of ‘Deluxe’ when applied to rooms. These are essentially standard-sized rooms. The marketing is very misleading in naming standard-sized rooms as ‘Deluxe’ and they do not actually have any standard rooms.
2. The elevator is an old-fashioned manual one. I got stuck once between floors and the alarm didn’t work. There was no network and I was trapped for almost half an hour. It was quite scary. Luckily, a family member recognised the problem and alerted the reception staff. When I got out with their help, the first question I was asked was “You would have opened the door prematurely. That’s why it got stuck.” They completely ignored why the alarm didn’t work. It’s not a safe option for families with children.
3. From the start, the staff’s behaviour was unfriendly. They refused to answer our questions and offered no luggage assistance. Instead, they argued, denied our requests and asked us to figure things out ourselves. Their services were incredibly slow. It took almost an hour to serve just watermelons and coffee in the morning, even after four requests. When I called the fourth time, the reception staff was irritated and said, “We have other work to do, not just attending your calls. Your food is being prepared and will be served.” I reminded him that the order had been placed an hour ago and that we only wanted watermelons and coffee.
