About this house rental
Tucked along a quiet, peaceful backroad in the heart of Lancaster County's Amish country, The Traveler's Haven is a newly renovated home offering a true retreat into rural Pennsylvania Dutch charm — while still keeping you just minutes from everything the area has to offer.
Though the setting is calm and unhurried, you're a short drive from Sight & Sound Theatre, Strasburg Railroad, Dutch Wonderland, and the shops and restaurants along Route 30 — plenty to fill a day of adventuring before heading back to unwind on the porch.

The Space
The bright, airy kitchen is the heart of the home — a coffee bar, appliances, and a large table and island that double as a great spot for card games when you're not gathered there for a meal. It's fully stocked with spices, olive oil, K-Cups, Sisel instant coffee, and more.
The first floor holds two bedrooms — one king, one queen — and a spacious bathroom with both a shower and a deep soaking tub, perfect for washing away a day of exploring. The living room has a comfortable corner couch, a decorative (non-working) fireplace, and a smart TV so you can log into your own streaming accounts.
Upstairs, you'll find a small sitting area and a kids' play space stocked with a toy kitchen, puzzles, and toys. The second floor has three more bedrooms and a full bathroom — one queen bed, two twin beds, and a bunk bed with a trundle pullout. If your kids love to read, you might find them curled up in the reading nook's beanbag chair.
Outside, a spacious backyard leaves plenty of room for whatever games you bring along. Start a fire in the campfire pit surrounded by Adirondack chairs and try your hand at over-the-fire cooking, or fire up the grill on the back deck. Sip your morning coffee on the front porch chairs or settle into the sectional lounge area out back.

How was clean, beautiful surroundings, and quiet. Plenty of bedrooms and beds were comfy.Host was super responsive.Only thing i could possibly say negatively is the listing makes it sound like owner offers local grass fed meat to grill but there wasnt any. Maybe just wording is off?

Wow what a great place to stay! We loved every minute! The home is spacious, clean, warm and inviting. With 5 bedrooms everyone can spread out and enjoy all the unique spaces this home has to offer. From a coffee bar to a reading nook, to multiple cool kids spaces upstairs it very spacious. Due to the rain, we were not able to take advantage of the fire pit area or rear deck outdoor furniture lounging, but we hope to next time. We did have our morning coffee out on the covered front porch in the comfy rockers though. This place feels like it’s way out in the hills, but only 7 mins from restaurants and cafes. This is an especially great place to stay if you are attending a show at Site and Sound Theatre. It’s only a 10 min drive away. We can’t wait to stay here against in the near future.
