About this apartment rental
A cozy private living area, kitchenette (microwave, toaster oven, refrigerator), bedroom with Queen-sized bed and bath with tub and shower. There is a couch in the living room and a small adult or child can sleep there. Extra sheets are provided. It is not a sleeper sofa, it is just a regular sofa. Located in Madison Valley, across the street from the Arboretum, the unit has a separate garden entrance with ample street parking in a quiet neighborhood. Major bus lines only 4 blocks away take you to Capitol Hill, Downtown, UW and the Central District in less than 20 minutes. Strong WiFi and Netflix. Perfect for 1 or 2 people, and possibly a child or small adult - all backgrounds are welcome in my home.

Great accommodations. A couple of blocks from the bus line. Around the corner from Mt.Bagel (yum!!). The bed was very comfortable.

We had such a great, short visit to Seattle. This property was beautiful, quiet, and Carmen was super helpful and responsive. Neighborhood was within walking distance of many places to grab a bite and near the wonderful arboretum. Thanks for an awesome stay!

Pros: Clean, cute amenities, walking distance (5-10 min) to food, coffee, and the breathtaking arboreum trails, lower cost than other nearby stays, owner was an approachable woman I'd feel safe staying near traveling alone. Cons: She didn't send us check in instructions. I started messaging and calling through the app an hour after check in time and heard nothing for a half hour. I had to ring the doorbell of the main house and luckily she was home. She apologized and sent the instructions and was responsive after that though. The area has some dangerous roads (exact quote from our Uber driver) with multiple intersections with no stop signs any way, multiple blind turns into heavy traffic, most are two way roads with only room for one person so you have to turn off/back up to make room, so be prepared if you're from out of town. The path to the apartment is a bit overgrown and absolutely not accessible (you have to walk over path stones and some wobbled) so wouldn't recommend if you use cane or wheelchair or if you have clothes you dont want to get slapped by ferns and vines, but very whimsical and wild looking if you dont mind. She has 2 dogs that sometimes bark and one ran out of the house when I knocked on the door trying to check in and growled at me but did not lunge or anything. The house is quite old and has some unkempt parts but for the price I had everything I needed and it was clean.
