A wonderful location facing Mount Shkhara. You can watch the sunset right from the cabin! A beautiful complex featuring a relaxing hammock.
The shower and toilet had drainage issues, and there was no squeegee to clear away the water.

Great location, last house in Ushguli, directly facing Skhara, so provides incredible views. There is washing machine, kitchen corner to prepare your food, fridge. Towels, hairdryer, shower gel etc were provided. Great cleanliness for a wooden cottage, enough space for 2-4 people. You can park in the garden or in front of cottage. Very quiet (last house in Ushguli). Giorgi is kind and speaks English well. They offer horse riding tours to Skhara glacier for a great price and good horses, which was a great experience.
Mattress was very soft for our taste. The cottage has very bad insulation, and cold wind blows through doors and windows. Recommendation: a self adhesive window seal would help this and it's cheap. Thankfully, two electric quartz heaters are provided that can warm up the bedroom, but during a cold night, they are not enough to warm the whole house (it was 5 Celsius), so if you need to go downstairs to the toilet in the night it's cold.
Also, the bathroom is wet room type, but it's a bit challenging to clean the water after shower - this could be fixed with a window squeegee that could get water down the drain quickly after shower.

Beautiful views, secluded, spacious. Owner arranged a taxi to the glacier and back.
Bathroom was wet and squeaky. A heater didn’t work. The owner came in with his friends at 8pm to have a bonfire and party in the garden area all night, would have liked to have the space to ourselves privately before it got cold outside. But they were friendly. The taxi asked for more money than agreed by the owner.
