Van Nuys Homes for the Soul

This survey asks how the breakfast was, but there was no breakfast. Location was fine, tho parking was a bit tricky. I liked how laid back and friendly it all was. Clean and safe. Large, comfortable bed. Plenty of hot water. Once I got used to the unusual facility, I felt it was just right for me. Super value for my private room and bathroom.

Saw a couple of cockroaches. No towels, even though they were included in some of the online listings. Only one electric outlet in my room. No chair, desk, or etc. Nowhere to put clothes, and only one strange tiny cabinet for all my belongings, until I moved the bathroom shelving unit to the room. The bed was too high to climb onto, until I moved the furniture around and was able to climb onto the couch and from there to the bed. The wifi router for the whole facility was in my room, but luckily I am not sensitive to that radiation.

despite it being so dirty, there was an element of community felt there

raising the price from $40 to $70 if you want to stay longer was incredibly rude. I could've seen myself staying longer if it wasn't for that. I feel bad for the families living here that the price is that high. also no toilet paper, is that legal?
