Disappointing and stressful.

Traditional property with authentic facilities. The garden was nice but no seating to enjoy it.

The contactless check in, unfriendly and cold. The taxi driver didn’t know where it was. We seemed to be the only people there so it was quiet. But there was significant road noise. Although well located for the castle it was a long walk to restaurants.

Highly recommend

Beautiful, cosy room! We stayed for one night and absolutely loved it. The décor is authentic and full of charm, the equipment is perfect, and the thoughtful little touches made a real difference. We truly enjoyed our stay and only wish we could have stayed longer.

Fantastic location, great facilities, great place to stay to see Himeji Castle.

Great location, easy check in, very clean. Bathrooms etc have been thoughtfully renovated and work well. Futons are comfortable. It was a quick walk to the castle and easy access to shopping and other local sightseeing. It’s also relatively close to Himeji Station if you are using Shinkansen. Local dining options are limited, you need to plan ahead.

This is no reflection of the landlord as such, but the upstairs guests were super noisy. The accommodation supplied earplugs but on the second night it was so noisy we were woken several times. The first night was absolutely fine.

Ci aspettavamo un luogo da sogno e così è stato! Location decisamente fuori dall’odinario, camera veramente molto grande per gli standard giapponesi, bagno grande con tinozza in ghisa fantastica! Futon molto più comodi di quanto non ci immaginassimo!
