Excellent location! A busy and vibrant alleyway with everything you need on your doorstep. Great view from the balcony. Staff were very helpful and super friendly. We had an issue with the WiFi and it was fixed straight away with their sincere apologies. Highly recommend a stay here.
As should be expected in central Saigon the noise in the alleyway and from the main road is constant, and would definitely distract a light sleeper.

The room came with a kitchen and was very clean and nice.
I checked my reservation again before I write this review, but nothing about credit card fee was written there. At check-in, I was told there would be an additional credit card processing fee of about 4%. This should have been clearly stated in the Payment Info or Important Information section in the booking confirmation. Not a large amount, but it's a hidden cost. The fee for one night is equivalent to buying one banh mi, a sandwich, in Ho Chi Minh City, I think.
More than the amount itself, being told suddenly at check-in without prior notice only makes me feel uneasy.
The reception staff on both day and night shifts couldn't speak or understand English at all. I tried communicating using Google Translate. It seems there was a trouble with my credit card during check-in, and I couldn't understand what the staff was trying to say, making communication difficult even with Google Translate.
If you can't communicate during check-in is nothing but anxiety.
Furthermore, when I got to the room, none of the lights turned on, and there was no phone to call reception (even if there had been, communication would have been impossible anyway), which was a problem. In the end, the staff came and turned on the main power switch and the lights came on, but shouldn't that have been checked before check-in?
Personally, having only bath towels was a negative point. At the very least, I wish there had been one hand towel.
I knew there was no safe from the start, but considering security, it would have been more reassuring to have one provided.
There was an issue where hanging the “Do Not Disturb” sign on the doorknob. When I tried hanging it, it would have prevented the door from closing properly. I asked the reception to come take a look, but he took a look and tried something and left without any explanation, and the problem remained unresolved.
It's a very cozy and pleasant place, but I don't think it's suitable for first-time travelers to Vietnam.

The apartment was very well equipped and clean, the receptionist did not speak English but was super friendly and tried his absolute best to communicate :)
I had no window (which I expected) but it did feel a bit claustrophobic in the beginning. If you don't care about that, it does not matter to you. The location was a bit of walk from mtje center but I enjoy walking so that was completely fine!
