What a great location. It is lambing season. There were baby lambs everywhere. How cute. Pheasant all over the place. Beautiful surroundings. The cottage was well appointed and everyone said the beds were very comfortable. There was a very nice gift basket for us on our arrival. The two, on-suite bathrooms were small but nice. Very quiet and peaceful place.
There were six people, three couples traveling with us. One room had two twin beds. It would have been preferable to have another king bed. This is not a complaint, but rather a preference.

Beautiful location on the Drumlanrig Castle estate. Kitchen well equipped apart from an air fryer. Beds comfy and bedding clean with plenty of towels. Showers powerful. Large garden. Estate office staff were helpful.
Carpet in living room needs replaced or thoroughly cleaned, dog smell and stains. Dining chairs wooden and uncomfortable. No shower caddy so no choice but to place shampoo etc on floor. En suite showers really small so difficult to manoeuvre. Windows dirty on the inside with cobwebs. Had a frog in the kitchen on one evening.
