Have stayed in Hondo Canyon before so knew what it was all about. This place is really a proper apartment, nicely furnished including big sofa and immaculately clean inside. Kitchen contains a massive fridge, a little toaster oven and a microwave - all working fine. The cupboards contained just a few basic utensils but it was all we needed. The rooftop patio was great with plenty of furniture to lounge on and watch the rain (as it happened) - sunrise was also visible, and there was a cute coyote prowling around early in the morning.
The instructions to reach the room are incorrect and, arriving at night, we ended up almost driving up a hiking trail and had a difficulty reversing our way out of it. Some other people arriving about at the same time did exactly the same thing so I guess it is a common error. Instead of driving 'to the top of the hill' you need to make a hard right immediately after driving between the coyote/dragonfly buildings and go up to a clearing where you park. At night, that tight right turn is not visible as you drive up and there is no sign - I thought it was just a parking place as there is a kind of stone ledge to push past.

It was a very quiet & super interesting dwelling! The place was larger than I expected and clean. Parking next to the apartment & just is close enough to town and sights.
It’s a bit makeshift outside & the deck furniture was a bit ragged. But inside was great eclectic vibe! The kitchen lacked pots & pans to cook with, but I managed.

Le lieu, l'ambiance, la déco, la terrasse, pratiquement tout en fait. Ce lieu est magique.
On entend un peu les énormes bécanes sur la route, mais franchement, c'est un détail.
Beaucoup de fourmis, mais en même temps, on est en pleine nature!

Clean and tidy
The road in was very bad, don’t ever try to get there in the dark. Signage is very bad. Directions are not sufficiency given. No tv, and the entry is dangerous. It’s more of a cabin than an apartment.
