No reception which was a bit strange although understand that is the future.
The emergency porter available to answer any questions and easy to come and go.

We enjoyed our stay, however the bed was only small my 6’1 husbands feet hung over the end, other than that it was comfortable. Its a good 15 minute walk into town for a restaurant but there are plenty of take aways about 150 yards away, and a pub about a 5 minute walk. Our room was at the back overlooking the river so it was lovely and quiet.

There are no staff but check in worked well. The artwork was splendid. The river was more of a stream. The beds were comfortable. The TV screen was massive. Good hotel for an overnight stay.

I wasn't expecting to have to give photographic evidence of my passport or driving licence being a UK resident to be able to complete the mandatory check-in. I didn't have either with me so had a bit of a panic. After the initial panic everything was easy enough. Room was clean and well maintained. The hotel was busy and a bit noisy, but that's not the fault of the hotel. There was some noise from the windows mainly traffic noise but was easily rectified with earplugs.
