It was a beautiful building, steeped in history, and the accommodation was very spacious - an apartment rather than a hotel room. The landlady was also very charming and helpful.

Elisa was such a great welcome! She was so friendly and happy. A perfect way to start our stay. She upgraded our room to a superior which was huge! The room was very clean, my bed was comfortable.
We enjoyed being able to go to the store to eat breakfast in. Other than that we didn’t use the kitchen but it had lots of different cooking utensils, pots, pans, etc.
The hotel was a great location, an easy walk to sites and restaurants.
The wifi didn’t work very well or not at all. That was definitely the only negative thing I could say about this hotel.
It’s not a hotel where they clean your rooms and change your towels every day. We prefer that but if you are expecting it you should be aware.
We would recommend staying here. It was excellent value and would stay here again.
