Beautiful house in secluded position with good views of woods and river. Everything was clean and ready for our 9 people and each group could have their own bathroom which was great. The house had everything you could need; the starter pack of food was appreciated and shops were close by. The electric vehicle charging was excellent. Our host Stephen was welcoming, helpful but unobtrusive and our stay felt very relaxing. We spent our week eating local food and drink, seeing sights close (Cork & Kinsale) and far (Mizen Head & Killarney), and simply chilling. Departing was also easy.

This was one of the best rentals I have ever experienced! The property was stunning and very private. The kitchen was well stocked with everything that you need in the way of a starter kit ( & beyond). The beds were comfortable and everything was meticulous & clean! I highly recommend this property to families & large groups. Thank you Stephen, I will return!

This was one of the best decisions of our trip. This is a beautiful old house. It has been masterfully updated and was featured on the front cover of an architectural magazine. The grounds are well kept and the wild bunny rabbits are fun to watch. It is close to a road but we never heard cars going by. It sets between to towns that are less than 5 minutes away. The host was helpful and gracious but not obtrusive. It was a great place to enjoy a peaceful recovery from a long journey. Parking was easy and plentiful. There is a prominent tree that stands at the top of the driveway that reminds me of the Ents in Lord of the Rings! The floors creek when you walk through the house, but it reminds you that it is old and reliable. What a great place to stay.
